Our Story
We are a 2nd generation butcher farm, specializing in custom cut and wrap of beef and pork. We pride ourselves on consistency and quality. Our business is family owned and operated right here on our homestead. We raise beef cows year round and have an abundance of farm and family pets. We look forward to serving your family year after year.
Ernie has over 30 years experience in the meat cutting industry. His training began alongside his parents, processing beef and pork right here in the same shop we run today. He then went on to manage meat departments for Brown & Cole, and the Markets for 22 years. Ernie has worked with many experienced meat cutters throughout his career, learning from their skills and techniques so that he can provide his customers the absolute best. Working in the grocery business has given Ernie excellent customer service skills and an eye for cutting each piece of meat to look appetizing. Besides being a butcher, Ernie is very involved in supporting the future of our farming community. He supports many local 4H clubs, FFA chapters and local livestock sales. Helping kids raise and process animals is important to Ernie, he is always happy to talk and teach them so that they can do their very best.
Ernie, Jeanie, and their children work all the aspects of the business, from raising animals to cleaning the meat shop each day. When we are not cutting meat, we are working our animals, attending our kids many events, and updating our farm & facility.
